About this site
Dikky Travel covers one small stretch of Indonesia in detail rather than the whole archipelago badly: the three Gili Islands off north-west Lombok and the surf coast around Kuta in the south. Every property listed here was checked against its own live listing before it went on the page.
Where the numbers come from
Every property on this site has a page on Trip.com, and that page is the source for its name, street address, star rating, guest score, number of reviews and lowest advertised nightly rate. Those figures were read on 3 September 2026 and are printed with that date attached, because they move.
The bullet points under each property — the cleanliness and service standings, the breakfast percentages, the facilities — come from the same listing. They are rewritten for readability but not embellished. If a property has no such information, its card is short rather than padded.
What is opinion and what is not
Four things on this site are editorial judgement and are labelled as such: the one-word verdict on each place, the quiet-to-loud scale on the home page, the comparison article, and Alexandra's take under each hotel. Everything else is either a figure from a listing or a fact about the islands themselves.
Crossing times, boat fares and departure schedules are deliberately absent. They change often enough that a static page would be wrong most of the time, and a wrong number is worse than no number.
How this site makes money
Some links on this site go to Trip.com or Expedia. If you book through one, this site may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. It does not change which properties are listed, the order they appear in, or what is said about them — the ratings and prices come from each property’s own live listing.
Corrections
If something here is out of date or wrong — a property that has closed, a name that has changed, a figure that no longer matches the listing — write to hello@dikky-travel.com and it will be fixed.
